TNR Initiative of Livingston

Serving the rural and unincorporated areas of Livingston Parish

Mission of the project

Neutering for a no-kill future, one ear tip at a time.

Trap-Neuter-Release

The primary purpose of TNR Initiative of Livingston is to provide trapping services to carry out the spay and neuter of feral cats in Livingston parish to control the overpopulation of feral cats.

Education about TNR

Trap-Neuter-Return is one of the most humane ways to handle overpopulation and we aim to educate our community about the importance of TNR and neutering of their own personal pets.

Feral Vet Care

Providing veterinary care, at the discretion of the organization, to cats under the TNR program such as, but not limited to, rabies vaccinations and, at times, injuries to the feral, is supplemental to our Trap-Neuter-Return program.

Foster Feral Kittens

At times. we offer foster and adoption services, resources permitting, for feral cats and their offspring. Whether they are socialized by an experienced foster or they are reacclimated as working/barn cats, we aim find the best fit for our fur-friends.
